Garden of Claude Monet in Giverny, France

Monet would find his inspiration in this water garden for more than twenty years. Always looking for mist and transparencies, Monet would dedicate himself to reflections in water.

With Monet’s paintings in mind while visiting the garden with my camera, I was inspired to make multiple exposures and reflections of the water’s surface.

I captured many images of the water garden and the Japanese bridge covered with wisterias, weeping willows, a bamboo wood and the Water Lilies (Nymphéas) which bloom all summer long.
